Recap of Jan-Feb Cycle 15

In case you missed the new year cycle of SERIALS, here’s a quick little recap for you.

Fan favorite, Watagatapitusberry [episode 6] by Karen Marulanda, featuring the Afternoon DeLITS, who gave us reggaetone, kick ass choreography by the talented Henry Lombino and high telenovela stakes, ended its reign. We laughed, we cried, we shook ass, and we made an entire theater shout “OOO HE’S SO NASTY” at the top of their lungs.

Sybil Creepe’s House of Mysteries [episode 3] by Laurel Anderson, featuring the Breakfast Babes, who gave us spooky queer Wicked x Haunted Mansion lovechild romance that filled the room with laughs and gasps galore was also not voted back for the Summer SERIALS cycle.

But after a double pilot upset, two new challengers entered the competition; The Good, The Bad and the Undead by Kenjiro Lee, featuring Midnight Snaxxx and Flared Base by Ben Schrager featuring Dinner Party. These two silly SERIALS will be returning next cycle for episode 2!

And last but not least, The Adventures of Bungo Calamity: Apocalypse Clown [episode 3] by A.J. Ditty, featuring Lunch Bunch. Nefarious old clowning partners, kidnapping, and some kick ass dance moves scored this Serial a place in our upcoming Summer SERIALS cycle as well.
